Sometimes you must question the Answer

medium_090222-allen-iverson-angry-towelheadIs the economy so bad that it affects the NBA to the point that a team will sign a player not for what they contribute to the teams chances of winning, but for the number of seats they can sell with his name?

Donald Sterling, labeled the worst owner in sports, thinks Allen Iverson can do what No.1 pick Black Griffin has yet to accomplish, which is to sell tickets.  It was projected by NBA analysis that a 29.3 percent drop in ticket revenue would occur for the LA Clippers for the 2009-10 season.  I guess I answered my own question – everything in sports these days is for the love of money.
