On Friday the Portland Blazers were able to sign veteran guard Andre Miller, a former Philadelphia 76er. He is now part of the second youngest team in the NBA as of last season.
Miller has played an NBA high 530 straight games, he has only missed three in his career.
The 33 year old Miller was the eighth overall pick in the 1999 draft, and over his career averaged 14.6 points and 7.4 assists in 815 games and also has 174 career double- doubles.
Maybe Miller is the missing link to the Blazers success or maybe just the Blazers general manger thinks so as he was impressed with how much Miller knew about the team and the ways he could contribute.
